Subject: amazing night, amazing run
Subject: amazing night, amazing run
Quite simply, this was among a handful of the most powerful Phil and Phriends performances ever, and definitely cracks the Top 10 all-time jam band efforts
...
(including the Grateful Dead). Spine-tingling jamming, incredible set list, just the right dose of energy from a New York show, and all at arguably the finest indoor venue ever. I was fortunate enough to be a row in front of three young women, only one of whom had the opportunity to see Jerry Garcia perform. As the second set ended, I turned to them, smiling ear to ear (they were too). They asked if this was like the GD at its peak, and I responded "it's pretty damn close." A must have for every music lover. Peace Out, and Rock On! (And thank you to Archive and the diligent tapers for sharing this amazing music).
